Zunafish: Guidelines on Item Condition

When you post your items on Zunafish, you are asked to accurately rate their condition. You'll be presented with the following guidelines to follow, depending on the item you're listing.

These will show up every time you attempt to post an item, so you don't have to memorize them.

Everything you post on Zunafish has to be in playable or readable condition. Zunafish is not a dumping ground for goods in poor condition, and trading such materials will result in negative feedback—which means people will probably no longer want to trade with you. Here are the guidelines:

  • DVDs
    • EXCELLENT
    • Disc plays perfectly.
    • In original case.
    • Contains all original inserts.
    • Case and inserts in excellent condition.
    • GOOD
    • Disc plays perfectly.
    • In original case.
    • Contains all original inserts.
    • Case and inserts may show some wear.
    • ACCEPTABLE
    • Disc plays perfectly.
    • May be in non-original, cracked, or damaged case.
    • Inserts may be damaged or missing.
    • POOR — Cannot be traded on Zunafish
    • Disc damaged/doesn't play cleanly OR
    • Disc is a digital copy—not the original item sold by manufacturer OR
    • Disc is not in a jewel box.
  • CDs
    • EXCELLENT
    • Disc plays perfectly.
    • In original case or jewel box with spine art.
    • Contains all original inserts.
    • Case and inserts in excellent condition.
    • GOOD
    • Disc plays perfectly.
    • In original case or jewel box with spine art.
    • Contains all original inserts.
    • Case and inserts may show some wear, but case is not cracked.
    • ACCEPTABLE
    • Disc plays perfectly.
    • May be in non-original case or jewel box.
    • Case or box may be cracked or damaged.
    • Inserts may be damaged or missing.
    • POOR — Cannot be traded on Zunafish
    • Disc damaged/doesn't play cleanly OR
    • Disc is a digital copy—not the original item sold by manufacturer OR
    • Disc is not in a case or jewel box.
  • Paperback Books
    • EXCELLENT
    • Almost new in appearance.
    • Cover and pages are in great condition.
    • No missing pages.
    • GOOD
    • Some minor wear and tear.
    • Cover and pages are generally clean and unmarked.
    • Very few pages have creases/folds.
    • ACCEPTABLE
    • Some wear and tear.
    • Cover may have creases/folds.
    • Some pages may have creases/folds.
    • Some pages may be underlined/highlighted.
    • No missing pages.
    • POOR — Cannot be traded on Zunafish
    • Book has missing pages OR
    • Books has missing cover OR
    • Books shows water or other substantial damage.
  • Video Games
    • EXCELLENT
    • Game works perfectly.
    • In original packaging.
    • Contains all original inserts.
    • Packaging or inserts in excellent condition.
    • GOOD
    • Game works perfectly.
    • In original packaging.
    • Contains all original inserts.
    • Packaging or inserts may show minor wear and tear.
    • ACCEPTABLE
    • Game works perfectly.
    • May be in non-original or damaged packaging.
    • Inserts may be damaged or missing.
    • POOR — Cannot be traded on Zunafish
    • Game is damaged/doesn't work perfectly OR
    • Game is a digital copy—not the original item sold by manufacturer OR
    • Game is not in a case.
  • VHS Tapes
    • EXCELLENT
    • Tape plays perfectly.
    • In original sleeve or case.
    • Contains all original inserts
    • Case and inserts in excellent condition.
    • GOOD
    • Tape plays perfectly.
    • In original sleeve or case.
    • Contains all original inserts
    • Case and inserts may show some wear.
    • ACCEPTABLE
    • Tape plays perfectly.
    • May be in non-original or damaged sleeve or case.
    • Inserts may be damaged or missing.
    • POOR — Cannot be traded on Zunafish
    • Tape damaged/doesn't play cleanly OR
    • Tape is a copy—not the original item sold by manufacturer.
  • Audio Books
    • EXCELLENT
    • All discs/tapes play perfectly.
    • In original packaging.
    • Contains all original inserts.
    • Packaging and inserts in excellent condition.
    • GOOD
    • All discs/tapes play perfectly.
    • In original packaging.
    • Contains all original inserts.
    • Packaging and inserts may show some wear.
    • ACCEPTABLE
    • All discs/tapes play perfectly.
    • May be in non-original or damaged packaging.
    • Inserts may be damaged or missing.
    • POOR — Cannot be traded on Zunafish
    • One or more discs/tapes are damaged/don't play perfectly OR
    • One or more discs/tapes are copies—not the original item sold by manufacturer OR
    • Discs/tapes are not in a case.
