Hassle-Free MailingSM
Zunafish makes mailing easy.
As soon as you complete a trade, you'll be taken to the "How to Complete Your Trade" page. This page will provide you with a mailing label and all the information you'll need to mail your item. And for almost every item on the site, the system will tell you exactly how much postage you need to use.
So here are the simple mailing instructions:
- Just find or buy a padded envelope large enough to contain your item. (Zunafish recommends size #02.)
- Print and affix the address label that appears on the "How to Complete Your Trade Page."
- Affix the postage the site tells you to use.
- The package is ready to send!
NOTE: It's easiest just to attach the pre-printed address label to your envelope, as described above. But if you choose to address the envelope yourself, take note of the following:
If you're shipping anything other than a single DVD or CD, you need to write the words "MEDIA MAIL" in large, clear lettering on the front of the envelope. This will qualify the package for the reduced-cost Media Mail rate. If you fail to do so, your package may be returned to you, or delivered postage due - either of which will make your trading partner unhappy.
How the Site Determines Postage:
In all cases the site will give you the least expensive mailing option for the item you're sending.
If you're mailing a single CD or DVD (in its plastic case - as required by Zunafish trading rules), the site will tell you to send the item by First Class Mail. That's because First Class Mail is actually the cheapest way send these particular items. And it's speedy too!
If you're mailing any other item, or multiple-disc CDs or DVDs, the site will tell you to send the item by Media Mail - which is the cheapest method of mailing anything other than a single CD or DVD.
In the case of single DVDs or CDs, the site will generate a label that includes the words FIRST CLASS MAIL.
In the case of everything else on the site, the system will generate a label that includes the words MEDIA MAIL.
But in either case, you will be told how much postage to affix to the envelope. For example, the site may say "This item will cost $1.59 to mail."
So regardless of what you're mailing, you can do it from your home or office and avoid a visit to the post office.
